Disneyland Birthweek Day 5: Birthday Wishes!

Here is part 2 since Youtube wouldn’t let me make the description that long apparently..
THE PRINCESSES ARE COMING!!
The Host of the lunch started to sing “Celebrate You” which has been one of my absolute favourite Disney songs since it was released back in 2009 on Corbin Bleu’s album “Speed Of Light”! It became the Official song of the “Year of Celebration” for Disneyland and the “What Will You Celebrate?” campaign at Walt Disney World! So it’s super cool that they still incorporate the song into the Disney parks now! Needless to say, I was singing along with him the whole time ;)
All of the Princesses came out within about 5 minutes of each other! So it was like BOOM! Princess! BOOM! Princess! BOOM! Princess! And since we were seated in the middle of the Meet & Greet course, it took a bit for them to come visit us personally, but thats okay!
Β Jasmine was the first Princess to come visit the Grotto! And all the way from Agrabah, too! Carpet must have been flying pretty fast! :)
Snow White was out next! She left the 7 little guys at home though.. :(
Princess Tiana was the third one out! Sadly Naveen and Lewis were back in New Orleans trying to make some Gumbo that Tiana would approve of for the Restaurant!Β
Last, but definitely not least, was Belle! Looking as beautiful as ever in her gold ball-gown, she left Beast’s castle for a bit to come visit us and talk about some of her favourite books! Bonjour!! ;)
Once all the Princesses were out, the servers brought us our main courses! Samantha and I both ordered the Santa Maria Style Trip Tip which came with some mashed potatoes, a tomato salad and squash! It was delicious, as had I expected!!Β
We met all the Princesses there, and they were absolutely beautiful! Once they were all finished coming around, we continued to eat our meals. When we were done eating our main course, the servers brought out the dessert tray and a special free Birthday dessert for me!
The Dessert tray came with a Chocolate Lava Cake with a White Chocolate Ariel, a chocolate cupcake, a vanilla cupcake, 2 M&M cookies and a white chocolate conch shell filled with fresh berries! All of them were delicious! My special birthday dessert was a Strawberry and Vanilla Mousse with blue icing! That was amazing!Β
Just remember that Ariel’s Grotto is one of the pricer restaurants in Disneyland as it IS a full Character Dining Experience! Also be aware that there is a $34.99 charge for the printed photos you take with Ariel before you eat, and that this isn’t an ‘optional’ charge, it’s a requirement to attend the Dining Experience!Β
